An optional add-on for your G-Screen that will monitor your on-board air tank or manifold pressure.
Have a Genesis Offroad G-screen and an air compressor? This digital air pressure sensor allows you to keep an eye on your on-board air status.
No need to run air hoses through the vehicle to an old analog pneumatic gauge, and no complicated wiring to figure out. One cable to connect and you're done.
NOTE: Not rated for reading pressure inside a CO2 systems such as a Powertank, but it can be used after the pressure regulator to help keep an eye on your pressure settings.
Super product, so easy to install. Plug & Play. I decided to put where the cigarette lighter was, easy to read and use. At first I didn’t think I needed it, but now I’m glad I did. Genesis makes great products from the packaging to the instructions.
The available install vids helped tremendously. The cable install was pretty straight forward, the screen was a serious PITA, and space available for the module is really tight causing the plastic to bulge a bit (wife wasn’t happy). Connection and usage were easy and intuitive. Overall a great product.
Have had the unit less then a month. Two times by Crank battery showed 7.7 or 7.5 on screen. By jeep would not start... Howerver the screen showed Aux Battery 12.7 or 17.9. So scrolled to boost and the screen completely goes blank on the unit. Cannot start vehicle. I open hood on the Gen 3 dual battery system (purchased 5/1/26) and flip switch and Jeep does start right up using the Manual swich on the system. Tell me the gen 3 screen is completly useless since you have to get out to manually boost. Why pay 299.00 for a useless screen that does not function as it should.
I have a 2018 toyota tacoma trd off road with the genesis dual battery set up and the genesis g screen and there is no room anywhere so I put it on the center console where the emergency break is and its perfect.
Very nice and easy to install on my 2022 Toyota 4 Runner TRD Pro. The G-screen seems to be of high quality. I am impressed, and now I don't have to get out to jump start my vehicle. Win! Win! situation.
Store owner replied:
If something is already using that path through the firewall and the G Screen cable won't fit, the connector can be removed to minimize the space needed to get through the grommet. The friction clips can be accessed from the bottom of the connector with a small flathead screwdriver to release the individual wires from the connector. Once the cable is through, the connector can be reattached and used as normal.
It works well and looks good, although it required cutting through the car dash, it would be better if it came with the option to just stick it onto the car’s dash or has parts that allows it to be compatible with the car’s dash system
While the product is exemplary, install instructions for other than base models is lacking. With a manual trans the routing suggestion for cabling is not possible and the location for the module on a model equipped with the adaptive cruise and active braking is also not possible. This caused me quite a lot of frustration, a shorted unit and the purchase of a secondary unit. While I love the functionality and did find a path forward, I’m quite upset I had to buy the unit twice.
I am waiting for a friend to help me install this. I will let you know as soon as I get it installed and working.
I installed the screen and it works great.
I work in the oil field and lease roads to the rigs are sometimes brutal. I built up a 2015 Subaru Forester with a lift kit, Offroad tires, Wilco tire carrier, 2 light bars, multiple ditch and fog lights, and mounted a Toyota Tundra dual group 25 setup in the tire well with a bed slide over the top of it. The G Screen makes it way easier to control my battery setup. Cool little piece of tech.
Great Product. Medium difficulty to install. Follow the directions is a must. I have had it for about 6 months. Works perfectly under all conditions. Was installed on the drivers pillar of a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
I like it, looks nice and serves a good function of being able to control the Genesis battery system from inside the comfort of your car. A good advantage when you are in cold weather and need to "jump from the aux battery".here are some complaints:1 - Where is the install video? Granted it is a quick search on YouTube, but come on. Why not have a link to it on the webpage?2 - When you see the install video again Shane makes it seem like a quick and easy install...only took another 3-4 hours. . . and cutting that cut out in the over head yeah that's like an 1/8 inch of plastic...way to make it look like I am just going to be doing a quick and easy few cuts. I do know that it is ultimately up to the user to as far as placement but man placing it in the overhead was a pain in the *Asterisk*!I wish others an easier install than what I went through.
I got this to complement my dual battery kit for my 2013 Tacoma TRO 4x4. I have Ham radios installed in my truck and the voltage level is important to know while using my HF radios in the field. It works exactly as advertised. No complaints at all. To install it, I drilled a small hole just above the driver side wiring harness and fed it through the firewall using a small rubber grommet. (Looks stock and professional.) Worth every penny I spent. Now into wishlist territory: I wish the G-screen provided more info like amperage draw from the aux battery or how much work my alternator is doing to charge one or both batteries. I have the towing package 130 amp alternator installed but the max voltage it provides is approximately 14.6v. (Lithium batteries can handle higher voltage.) My Tacoma dash has very little real estate for cutting a hole. If I do cut a hole it will be in a very expensive part of the dashboard if ever I want to restore it. I wish there was a small housing option available for purchase. I made my own and mounted it just above my rear view mirror. Overall, Im very happy with my G-Screen. I havent yet had to use the best feature of the G Screen: the boost button.
I couldnt imagine not having the g screen with the double battery system. It was easy to install, I like how you can monitor both batteries and access the boost feature while inside the vehicle. The video instructions are very easy to follow.
Initially did not purchase this item when I obtained the battery system. After installation, I felt it to be incomplete without the G-Screen so I ordered it. Although a bit pricey for what it appears to be, I am very pleased with it and would consider it a required Item. I love being able to monitor the battery directly. It gives me great comfort in the field. Double thumbs up.
Purchased and installed, as for operation it works great with no issues. The install can be tricky. Be careful and plan your install carefully. There is a small control box that the control panel attaches too and could be difficult to conceal. I installed mine in the panel above my mirror in my Jeep JLU just like the YouTube video Genesis has, However the panel is too shallow for the control box and wont snap in all the way. Maybe if they lengthened the ribbon cable it would resolve this issue. However thats my only complaint.
I was a bit apprehensive about cutting a hole in the dash on my 5th-gen 4Runner, but found a perfect spot just above the switch for the rear power outlets. After carefully verifying that there was adequate clearance in that space (using a mirror and flashlight), cutting the hole was pretty easy (do watch the video first). After that, the rest was easy. It's really reassuring to be able to check the charge on both batteries at any time. Definitely recommended!
I recommend adding this feature even with the inconvenience of the connectors not latching. Recommend the manufacturer make a design change to add catches to hold the cables onto the module. My cables were coming loose as I tried to push it into its hiding place. Also recommend lengthening the ribbon cable to give the installer more options.
This is one of the best product out on the market. Currently, the winter storm has dropped between 0-20 degree the battery and the devices work perfectly without worry nor concern about it being able to see the voltage of the batteries. As a combat veteran, I recommend this product and the company to many of my members of G.I. Jeeps (veteran, active duty, reservist, and national guard jeepers ).
I have been very satisfied with the G-Screen bundle for my 2018 Wrangler. It is as far as I am concerned an absolute must if you are going to use the Dual Battery System from Genies.Being able to know what you voltages are for each battery and to be able even have thew Jeep "jump" itself off out in the boonies can save you embarassment out on the trail. It is a worthwhile investment and can be mounted in a number of positions. In my rig, the installer placed it behind the ignition key on the dash. Not to notiable to those not in the know, but easy to tap and read the data when needed. You cannot go wrong when added to the Dual Battery Systems from Genesis.
Adding this monitoring system to the Genesis Dual Battery set-up is well worth the resources. I was particularly pleased to find it integrated with my 6 switch sPod system where it lives in the switch housing above the rear view mirror. It works flawlessly and really showed me how the Jeep draws the battery down when shut off. I like the ability to connect the batteries together from inside the cab. Could not be happier with this product. 2016 Rubicon.
Have had an SPOD for years with the G screen cutout and finally got the g screen. It's great. I have 2 AGM batteries and now I know what they are doing. This is just my opinion, but the only thing I didn't like is trying to stuff the module in behind the window trim because there is also the wiring from the spod switches but I got it done. No one's fault, just a PITA. Other than that, a great piece of kit and a must have if you do off grid camping like us and have accessories.
I was a little hesitant to order this, but it was money well spent. To get status from the cab is huge! To be able to engage the boost button from the cab is awesome
