It only covers the bottom and partial of one side, I don’t really see how it can properly serve the function if it doesn’t actually surround the entire mechanism. It seems to be more like a gimmick than an actual benefit to the system.

Glad I found this on their website. I would have thought it would come as part of the package.
This looks great and should work great. A couple of problems are. The thickness at the bottom is the problem. Its a .25 thick and metal battery try rest on the body so you really have to smash it in just to get the bolts to line up. Also on the far left side the metal part it a little sharp so I needed to install heater hose around that area so the wires don't get cut. All and all should be good for keeping the heat at bay.
Store owner replied: Hi Shane, Thank you for the feedback! I'd love to hear more about your challenge with the tray. I think you're referring to the 2 small bolts at the front by the air box, right? I'm curious if you had already tightened the nuts against the firewall. Those holes in the tray are slotted for a bit of adjustability. I believe if you tighten the front bolts down first, and then tighten the nuts against the firewall, you shouldn't have any trouble at all. Hope this helps! -Shane Smith
No photos, it's almost impossible to see that insulation due to engine and all accessories but it really work. It keeps batteries temperature to a manageable level. Initially I did not install that batteries heat protection and by mistake sent it back to Genesis. But remember, Genesis people customer service is second to none so they sent it back to me and i got it next day air. To install it, i had to take out everything i already installed, install heat protection then reinstall everything back. Altogether, took me about 2.5 hours. I am super happy and as i said before, no more worry about dead battery.Thank you Genesis, thank you Mike.
