Changes the threshold for connecting/disconnecting the batteries in the Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator due to its smart alternator.

Highly recommended for the Jeep JL & Gladiator

This cable plugs into a built-in connector under the cover of our Gen 3 Power Hub to sense when the engine is running. The fuse tap fits into a "Micro Fuse" slot in the fuse box.

EASY INSTALL

To use, lift bus bar cover and grab the small green wire, plug in sensor cable into the green bullet connector, route cable to the factory fuse box, find and remove any ignition-hot circuit fuse, insert factory fuse into fuse tap, insert fuse tap into factory fuse box.

SMART ALTERNATOR

Ensures the Aux battery continues to charge even when a modern 'smart alternator' senses the batteries are full and turns down its output.

BATTERY THRESHOLD

Connects batteries together 30 seconds after engine starts, leaves them connected unless voltage drops below 11.6v with engine on, or under 13.1v for 5 minutes with engine off.
