Adding electrical accessories to your vehicle has never been easier! Devices connected to the bus bars run from the Aux battery and will not drain your cranking battery.
3 sizes of studs for connecting heavy wires like your winch, stereo amps, fuse boxes, etc. Connect smaller ring terminals to the small screws.

How It Works
The heart of the system is a smart battery combiner that handles connecting / disconnecting the batteries automatically.
When the engine starts, it allows the engine to charge the cranking battery first, then links the batteries together in parallel so they can both be charged by the alternator.
Once it sees the voltage drop below ~12.7v for a minute, it will separate the batteries. Your accessories connected to the bus bars continue to run from the second battery and won't drain your cranking battery.
The heavy duty Smart Battery Combiner device is rated to handle 300 amps continuously flowing through it. It can handle higher amperage loads for shorter durations - 500 amps for 5 minutes, and up to 2,000 amps for 5 seconds. The combiner requires a minimum of 8 volts to operate. It does not consume any power to keep the batteries connected together, and it does not generate any heat.
Matching Group 25 batteries are required. The factory battery is not compatible.
The Positive and Negative bus bars have 3 different size studs - - 3/8", 5/16", and 1/4" diameter for heavy cables for a winch, air compressor, fuse box, etc, and three #10 screws for attaching smaller ring terminals for your low amp accessories such as small LED lights.
Our battery cables are made with 2ga heavy duty, high strand count, pure copper welding cable. Why welding cable instead of battery cable? It's more flexible, more conductive, with a thicker, more abrasion resistant jacket for ultimate durability. The lugs are made of pure copper and tin plated which is more conductive and eliminates corrosion, then covered with an extra thick, adhesive-lined heat shrink material to fully seal the ends of the copper wire for long lasting performance.
If you're handy with a wrench, and if you follow along with our detailed installation video, most people can install this kit in their driveway in 2-3 hours. If you prefer to have your local 4x4 shop install it for you, most shops will bill 2 hours for installation in a stock vehicle. If you already have some aftermarket wiring that needs to be rerouted to our bus bars or otherwise cleaned up, add to the installation time as appropriate.

How can I hook up solar panels?
Most people want to use solar panels to be able to run their accessories for as long as possible with the engine off. You can connect the solar charge controller directly to our power and ground bus bars. The solar charge will go into your aux battery first to replace the power used by your accessories. As long as the panel is big enough to keep up with the demand and charge up the battery, then our smart isolator will link them together, and the solar will flow over to the cranking battery as well
How do I connect a charger to keep both batteries charged?
You can connect a charger to your factory positive wire on the cranking battery and the factory negative wire on the aux battery. This way the trickle charger works just like your alternator - it will charge the cranking battery first for a couple minutes, then the smart isolator links the batteries together to charge the aux battery as well.
I left my headlights/radio/dome lights turned on, and now the engine won't crank. I thought the system would turn off the cranking battery to protect it from getting too low.
The factory positive wire harness feeds power directly to your fuse box, which means all of the factory circuits are powered from your cranking battery. The isolator does not turn off power to the fuse box. It 'isolates' the 2 batteries from each other, to protect your cranking battery from being drained by your aftermarket accessories that you have wired up to the bus bars. If you accidentally drain your cranking battery, that's when you'd use the boost button to jump start yourself from the second battery.
My factory post clamps won't get tight enough on the battery post. It is loose and causing weird electrical issues.
Most factory battery post clamps are made of light duty stamped sheetmetal, and stretch or wear out over time. First, make sure the post clamp is fully seated all the way to the bottom of the battery post. Try loosing up the post clamp nut so it is very loose, then use a large socket and gently tap the clamp down onto the post. Now tighten the clamp nut and see if it is secure. You can also try using a battery post shim, available from your local auto parts store, to fill the gap between the clamp and the post, allowing the clamp to tighten down more securely.
Do I need an sPOD, or is it unnecessary since the kit has the power and ground bus bars for hooking up my accessories?
The sPOD system from www.4x4spod.com is a great compliment to our dual battery system. It allows you to easy add electrical accessories that need a fuse, relay, and a switch. It does have limitations, however, with the amount of current that can be used through any one switch. For example, you can't control a winch with it due to the very high amp draw for the winch. Our bus bars are perfect for connecting accessories that need direct battery power, or for those that come with a wire harness that includes a fuse, relay, and switch.
How do I connect an sPOD system to the dual battery kit?
The sPOD source unit should be connected directly to our power and ground bus bars. This way, anything that you are controlling through the sPOD will get power from the aux battery, and will not drain down your cranking battery.

I'm not the most mechanically inclined and almost paid $1K to have this installed, but directions and YouTube video were spot on! They said 2 hours, so I gave myself 4 and would have been around 3 hours if I wouldn't have dropped the wedge on the positive terminal side. That is the only thing that held me up and Genesis customer support was amazing. Love this set up and the capabilities I now have. Time to hook up some accessories now:). Great product, highly recommend!

Install was easy a little time consuming but if you’ve done other projects before you’ll be able to tackle this one. Everything is well made and fit back great! Now I don’t have to worry about doing this project on the side of the road when the little start stop battery craps out and I’ve got plenty of power for accessories!
Seriously impressed with this kit and Genesis Offroad in general. I called at 9 am Monday and had the batteries and kit delivered by Tuesday. I couldn’t wait to install it due to my existing battery being on its last leg and finished in a couple hours the same night! Very professional packaging and the kit itself looks great! Obviously have to drive it around for a few days for a full review and also finish my G Screen install, but I’m very impressed already. Lots of stuff to unbolt and fuse boxes to remove but it cranked right up! Felt great throwing out that massive plastic battery box Jeep includes. Apologies for the dirty underhood pic but I think the Gen3 kit fancies it up a bit. I just watched the install video beforehand and everything made sense after I got started. Looking forward to my next purchase from these guys!
Easy installation , took me about a hour and a half but I was not in a hurry plus I was cooking on the grill also , I do think thay should include the engine running wire with it even if they need to add thev17 dollars in , but I would recommend genesis

Genesis Off Road ships via UPS and for us Canadians that is costly as UPS applies unbearable brokerage fees. Luckily I did discover that a person can Self Clear and save those fees. Maybe a suggestion to mention this to Canadian buyers to avoid those ridiculous fees. As for Genesis Off Road they were understanding to my plight but what can they do. They were willing to help best they could. As for the product the install videos were a life saver and made the process very successful. The product is very well built and fit perfectly. A very welcome piece of kit Thanks Guys!

I love how streamline and smart they have made this dual battery setup. All the electronics kind of scare me, but with modern day vehicles this is exactly the kind of aftermarket item I would expect. The video install was a great help, and is easy to follow step by step, making everything pretty self explanatory. I opted to go with the dual Full Throttle group 25 batteries for my JT Gladiator, and so far am very happy with the setup. The only negative I have is that after all power is disconnected for a while, and for me it was around 3 hours, when I started the vehicle back up after the install, all electronics were not working as they normally do. The speedometer screen said contact dealer, then went black. The radio screen said contact dealer, then loaded as usual. I figured id drive it around the block and see what happened, and realized neither my front or rear cameras were working either, they just popped up as a blue screen showing camera system unavailable. This was scary as could be for me, thinking I must have done something wrong and none of the videos or instructions mention this is a normal thing, but after freaking out for a while I went to google and found its a normal thing for the Gladiators, and Wranglers to do this for up to 24 hours while the computer relearns all the info it stores in its memory. Mine came back in about 2 hours with everything working normal, but I had a lot of anxiety that could have been avoided if this was mentioned as a normal part of changing out the batteries and having them disconnected for an extended period of time.
Straight forward install on my JT, thanks to the thorough video on the website. Had a self-induced glitch that was quickly resolved by the help line. System works seamlessly. This is my second install after first generation install on my JK that also worked flawlessly. Great setup!
The Genesis offroad dual battery system is a nice addition to my truck. For me it eliminates the worry of the stop start battery on my jeep. And has different size terminals to make hooking up your accessories a breeze. The installation of the system was not bad at all. Just followed the video instructions and the system came together as stated in the video.

I thought this was going to be a lot harder than it wound up being. The install video was spot on...Whole thing took a couple of hours. Works perfectly and the start stop system in my 2020 Gladiator is working again as well!! I highly recommend this upgrade!
Made a huge difference with my setup.
Installed in a 2023 Gladiator. Easy to install. The only modification that I made is that I extended the positive battery cable (from the small battery) and connected it to the front battery. Now it functions the same as what Jeep setup. The only issue (very small) that I can see is the case bumps up against the oil dip stick. For me it was a good buy.
The Dual Battery Kit install went well and fit like a glove. Very happy with the added piece of mind when I'm out for days with a running fridge.
Not installed yet but is exactly what was needed.
Jeep should have setup the battery system this way out of the factory. Now to get rid of the auto stop/start

I own a offroad shop in the Houston, TX area and Genesis Offroad has the best dual battery systems on the market. The brackets are made with excellence. We install these kits often and they work every time! Clean setup than looks great and works. I highly recommend for those using additional lights, sound systems, e-coolers, etc. It's peace of mind knowing your vehicle will start right up with the right power every time.
Disappointed that this system will NOT work with America’s Most Wanted 4x4 V8 engine conversion.. Great product, unfortunately it is going to be torn out and replaced with factory battery tray.

I have exactly �0� mechanical ability and I had contracted a mechanic to install the product. Unfortunately he could not make it when the product arrived (faster than expected) so I had to tackle the install myself. I followed the video on my phone, step by step and completed the installation in about 2.5 hours. I bought this system for a gladiator to eliminate the auxiliary battery that failed at 8,000 miles. So far it works great, as advertised, and I hope to add auxiliary equipment as finances permit. Happy with the support I received over the phone before purchase also...

Absolutely love the kit. I won't lie, installation seemed a bit daunting at first, but Genesis provides very easy to follow videos that make installation a breeze. It's not nearly as difficult as you may think, and with the full kit Genesis makes the wiring aspect foolproof.As an added bonus, the Genesis kit drops the height of the fuse box slightly, freeing up more space for additional accessories up top. I am able to comfortably run my sPOD and multiple circuit breakers on top of it. All in all, its a 5 star product. I'm stoked to have it on my Gladiator, and it will be a crucial piece towards completing my build.
