Ineos Grenadier OMEGA Dual Battery System
Protect your cranking battery from getting drained by your accessories.
The OMEGA system is a plug-and-play aux battery system for the Ineos Grenadier. It is completely pre-wired and designed to fit under the back seat, with a Redarc Alpha 25A DC-DC charger, 50A Anderson plug for solar panel input, bus bars for connecting your electrical accessories, and an adjustable battery bracket for various sizes of lead acid, AGM, or lithium batteries. Aux battery sold separately.
Important Fitment Notes:
For Grenadier owners with the factory JBL Nano speaker, we have an optional Relocation Bracket with wire harness extension to easily mount it under the front passenger's seat. See options below.
This kit is compatible with Grenadiers with OR without the extra switches in the overhead panel (the High Load Auxiliary Switch Panel & Electrical Preparation package) which has an extra fuse box under the back seat.
This kit is designed for Grenadiers that DO NOT have the factory second battery option (this option was discontinued for the 2025 year model). Our kit could be used, but the factory electrical components under the back seat would need to be removed first. We will offer documentation on that process in the future.
Some base model Grenadiers that do not have the factory speaker may not have the factory brackets under the back seat which are used to secure the new battery in place. We are currently working on sourcing those factory brackets. More details coming soon.

OUR GOAL IS SIMPLE:
POWER YOUR ACCESSORIES WITHOUT DRAINING YOUR CRANKING BATTERY

FAQs
Which batteries can I use for the accessory battery?
Since this system uses a DC-DC charger, you can use any battery type; AGM, lithium, or lead acid.
How long will it take to get my order?
The Omega system and Full River or Odyssey Group 25 batteries ship from our office in Olive Branch, MS, just outside of Memphis, TN. We work hard to keep everything in stock for same day shipping on most orders placed by 3pm Central time. Click here to see a map showing transit times by UPS Ground for the USA. You may select Expedited Shipping services on the checkout page if faster delivery is needed. Tracking information will be provided when we create your shipping label.
Dakota Lithium batteries will ship from a warehouse located in Washington state.
Other sizes of Full River and Odyssey Group batteries ship from a warehouse in southern California.
How can I hook up solar panels?
The Redarc Alpha and charger has an integrated MPPT solar charger controller built in. No additional charge controller device is required. The Omega lid includes a 50 amp Anderson plug for connecting directly to your solar panels. If your brand of solar panels come with a different connector such as MC4 connectors, you will need an adapter to plug them into the Anderson plug.
How do I connect a charger to keep both batteries charged?
To use a traditional battery charger while the engine is off, you can connect it directly to the positive and negative posts of the battery that you wish to charge. The Omega system does NOT link the batteries together, so that means each battery will need to be charged independently.
I left my headlights/radio/dome lights turned on, and now the engine won't crank. I thought the system would turn off the cranking battery to protect it from getting too low.
Please keep in mind that your factory fuse box gets its power directly from your cranking battery all the time. The Omega system does not link the batteries together in parallel, but with the Alpha charger, you can use its 'Start Recovery Mode' feature which will charge up your cranking battery by powering the Alpha charger from the accessory battery for 15 minutes to help get the cranking battery recharged enough to start the engine.
My factory post clamps won't get tight enough on the battery post. It is loose and causing weird electrical issues.
Most factory battery post clamps are made of light duty stamped sheetmetal, and stretch or wear out over time. First, make sure the post clamp is fully seated all the way to the bottom of the battery post. Try loosing up the post clamp nut so it is very loose, then use a large socket and gently tap the clamp down onto the post. Now tighten the clamp nut and see if it is secure. You can also try using a battery post shim, available from your local auto parts store, to fill the gap between the clamp and the post, allowing the clamp to tighten down more securely.
How do I connect an sPOD system or other accessories to the Omega dual battery system?
The sPOD unit should be connected directly to the bus bars. This way, anything that you are controlling through the sPOD will get power from the aux battery, and will not drain down your cranking battery. Any other aftermarket electrical accessory wires should also be connected directly to the auxiliary bus bars to avoid accidentally draining down your cranking battery.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world. We have customers in at least 53 countries! Shipping costs will be calculated before you checkout.
RELOCATE THE FACTORY JBL NANO SUBWOOFER WITH THIS KIT

Grenadier Speaker Relocation Kit
This kit will relocate the Grenadier's factory JBL Nano subwoofer from under the back seat to under the front passenger seat.
If you are installing our dual battery system in your Grenadier, or any other accessory that needs to mount under the back seat, this is the easiest way to relocate the factory speaker.
Included is the bracket to mount the speaker and a 42" wiring extension harness. Installs with factory bolts under the seat, and reuses the factory screws to attach the speaker to the bracket.
The speaker is mounted high enough off the floor to fit the factory tool kit bag and an umbrella under it.
