15 Foot Genesis Offroad Quick Connect Jumper Cables

These severe duty jumper cables easily plug into the quick connect plug on your front or rear bumper. No need to pop your hood, simply plug into the mating connector. Made in the USA with flexible 4ga wire, 15 foot long. Includes heavy duty insulated clamps on one end and quick disconnect plug with a protective boot and cap on the other end.

Q: Since this will per permanently installed running from my batteries to the rear of my truck, what size in line fuse would you recommend running? in case the event the wiring would become damaged I do not want it to arch out and burn my truck down.

A: These cables are not permanently mounted from the battery to the rear of the truck, as they are only 15' long and have an Anderson connector on the end. These are intended to plug into one of the Quick Connect Cable options, either the 7' or 18'.

System design or additional parts is always up to the installer, and fuse size would be determined by the potential load you anticipate having on the cables. We offer a 600A fuse and fuse holder at the links below that we use on our JT Diesel kit.

A: Since these cables aren't designed for any specific application, no written instructions are available. Also, these particular cables are designed to connect to one of our Quick Connect Cables below, not directly to the battery.

Q: Do these come with a case to store them in? If so where can i find the case if I have to purchase it separately? Also how many Amps are these rated at?

A: There is no case for the cables. The SB175 Anderson connector is rated up to 175A.

Q: I saw the question above re: also jumping your own vehicle. Would the connection go from the cranking positive to the post on the dual battery system? Thank you!

A: This item does not connect directly to the battery system. It is designed to connect to the Quick Connect cable (7' or 18'), which should be terminated at the busbars. Our kits include a boost button to combine the batteries in the event a "self jump" is necessary. If the cranking battery is too low to utilize this feature, a connection between the positive posts on the batteries could be used to manually connect the batteries.

Q: Would this just be used to solely jump other vehicles? Since it is attached to the bus bar on the dual system, or would you be able to jump your vehicle also safely?

A: Since this connects to the Quick Connect Cable that is terminated at the positive and negative busbars , and the busbars aren't always connected to the cranking battery, this would not be useful in jumpstarting your own vehicle. You would need a connection to your cranking battery positive, which these do not provide when the Quick Connect cable is connected as recommended (directly to positive and negative busbars).
