Quick Connect Cable - 7 Feet

A great accessory for the Genesis Dual Battery System, it works in conjuction with the separately purchased Jumpers, you connect this to the Dual Battery Acessory Point. So instead of trying to connect the jumpers to the posts, you simply plug your jumpers (15 foot length) to the connector where you have placed the connection point outside of the engine compartment. There is no guessing the positive/negative. the Jumper end will go on the connection one way only. The can be a relief when up to your knees in water and the light is at a minimum. I put mine next to the winch controller accessory controller plug-in point so I know where everything is at. I used sturdy zip ties to hold the cabling in place along the routing so it would not come up against any moving parts. You will have to supply your own and I recommend heavy duty electrical zip ties that are heat proof too.

I paired this up with the jumper cables to go along with the dual battery kit for my JL and I haven't looked back. The 7-ft quick connect is more than enough to drop down the engine bay between the battery & air box. Secured inside the bumper with a few zip ties, it fits nicely and holds in place with the heavy gauge. I use locking hood latches, so the convenience of not having to open the hood is fantastic.
