Production Technician

Genesis Offroad is growing, and we are ready to add a new member to our team. This position will be responsible for assembling products, packaging, and shipping the daily orders to our customers.

As our company continues to grow, there is a huge potential for growth and development. The responsibilities of this position may evolve over time into other functional areas around product assembly, shipping, customer service, or marketing based on skill levels and career goals.

The ability to adjust and adapt to changing conditions will be critical. Each day will be different, and this position will have autonomy to make decisions to get the job done to meet the company goals. The right mindset, personality, attitude, instinctive attention to detail, and exemplary work ethic are more important than previous experience. Knowledge of the automotive aftermarket parts industry and involvement in the off road community is a plus but not required. The ability to travel to shows and events and talk to customers is a big plus but not required.

Daily tasks will include:

Responsibility for keeping finished products on the shelf in order to fulfill orders within 24 hours or less

Assemble components into finished products using basic hand tools

Carefully package products for daily shipments

Work independently and make decisions based upon daily production requirements with minimal supervision

Multi-task and use judgement to ensure the quality of products and accuracy of shipments

Contribute ideas towards continuous improvement

Physical Requirements

Perform tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies, tools, and equipment

Standing or walking for extended periods

Must be able to routinely lift or move 5-25 pounds, with occasional weight up to 50 pounds

Dexterity to assemble components such as wires, screws, and brackets

Occasional use of a forklift, walkie stacker, or carts for moving pallets or boxes on/off shelves

The work environment is clean, temperature controlled, and tobacco free, with casual dress standards. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
